"Yes, dear friends, we are already God's children, and we can't even imagine what we will be like when Christ returns. But we do know that when he comes we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is."
1 John 3:2 (NLT)
The Nationwide Girls Ministries Sleepover takes place on the fourth Friday and Saturday of September. To plan for the event, a Theme/Sleepover packet is mailed to churches that have Mpact/Teen Girl Clubs. The packet contains annual Theme material, Sleepover plans, and a new catalog. It also contains resources such as activity suggestions, a devotion, and a product order form to enhance any Sleepover.
In conjunction with Sleepover, churches are encouraged to participate in the Coins for Kids offering.
A new mailing list is compiled each year and includes all churches that meet one of the following requirements:
.
The local church can use NGMW to promote Girls Ministries in August or September when girls are advancing to new clubs. An annual Theme/Sleepover packet is mailed to district coordinators, sectional representatives, and local churches. This packet contains promotional resources such as a skit, a devotion, and a product order form to enhance National Girls Ministries Week—all encouraging girls to attend Girls Ministries programs.
Every church reporting a Girls Ministries ministry on the Annual Church Ministries Report will receive a packet in July. Coordinators will have everything they need to start the new Girls Ministries year—promotional plans and materials, an event-planning guide to kick off the year (Sleepover), and the new catalog to help them order and prepare for start-up in August or September.
Along with promoting Girls Ministries in their congregation, churches are encouraged to take up an offering. This offering assists the national Girls Ministries staff as they provide field ministry, develop new materials and products, provide training and leadership materials, process training certificates, and process orders for materials and offerings for national projects.

Coins for Kids is the missions are of Girl's Ministries. Each year the National Girls Ministries office, in cooperation with the Assemblies of God World Missions and Us Missions, selects a missions project that specifically affects children. Projects that the Coins for Kids fund has assisted include; providing missionary medical kits, indoor equipment and furnishings for missions and benevolence institutions, Touch the World Care Center in Ethiopia, translation of the Girl's Ministries curriculum into Spanish, Health for the Helpless, and Native American Fellowship.
National Girl's Ministries partners with BGMC(Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge). The Coins for Kids offering collected during the Nationwide Girl's Ministries Sleepover not only benefits the national missions project but also contributes to BGMC when mailed to the National Girl's Ministries Office.
