Charters
THANK YOU to those Coordinators/Pastors that have already Chartered for 2009! Yay you!!
I know you are all busy bees with the hustle and bustle of Jesus’ birthday, but I thought I should send you a reminder to get your church chartered for 2009. Your charters should be in by December 31st of each year. Once we receive your completed application, we will mail you your certificates for each club you have chartered, and a membership card for each girl or Rainbow you have chartered. Remember that additional membership cards are available after your initial charter for only .25 each.
If your 2009 Charter is received by December 31st, 2008 you will receive a discount on your Sponsors’ Camp registrations!! That is a savings of $8 for each Stars Camp Sponsor and $15 for each TGM Camp Sponsor!! That discount can add up very quickly!
This past year I have referred many families to attend chartered churches. I have also referred college students who want to be helpers or sponsors to chartered churches! You don’t want to miss out on these opportunities to build your ministry to girls and your church.

On January 24, 2009, we will be having our Coordinator’s Seminar designed with you, the Girls Ministries Coordinator in mind!! This is a day for you to come and be inspired, encouraged, and refreshed in your ministry to girls at your church. This is an important day to attend so you know what is new and exciting from the National and District Girls Ministries Offices for 2009! Mark your calendars and mail in your registrations ASAP!

The national Girls Ministries department released iHeart, a new podcast for Girls Ministries leaders. The podcast, iHeart is an instructional, informational, and inspirational tool about loving girls and loving God. Topics covered will be anything that affects girls and those who minister to them.
